How Long Can Pomeranian Puppies and Adults Stay Home Alone?

Don't make the same mistakes I made with my Pomeranian!

I'm getting a pomeranian puppy and i really need to know this cause i'm at school for 8 hours and my parents are at work all day.

I just had to turn a job down that would keep me away from home 10 hours a day. * hours is wayyyy to long to leave a puppy. I work 6 hours for the convience of my dog and still I get a sitter every chance I can. I dont want him to be alone sick, scared or anything else. maybe you can find a sitter?

you have to spend time with the puppy. not leave it alone at home.

Puppies need lots of attention and to go outside and play every two hours, minimum. I'd get an adult – they can stay at home all day and you could play with it when you get home from school.

    not smart man!

if its a PUPPY u will come home to piles and piles of mess, poo, pee, and a sad isolated dog…its just been torn from its mom and siblings and your'e planning to leave it alone for 8 hours a day

    please rethink this decision…plz

It seems as though once the puppy is house broken it will be able to stay alone for 8 to 10 hours, I have a Lhasa and she stays for about 10 and a half hours each day while I work. When she was still being trained to potty outside I would keep her confined to a room with tile floor to avoid having her ruin my carpet, it also made it easier to clean up any accidents, some people use a crate to train their dogs and that works well too, I just prefer to confine to a room with out carpet and when I am home I let her out about 30 min after she eats and just before bedtime unless she ask to go out more….Also I make sure she has a lot of cuddly toys and the TV or radio are left on for her. Than I make sure I spend a lot of time with her on weekends and after work each day, we go for walks and play ball ect…
